Information you provide

DealHaus is a read-only deals site. We do not require an account to browse deals. If you contact us by email, we receive whatever you choose to send (name, email address, message content).

Automatically collected data

When you visit DealHaus, our hosting and analytics providers may automatically collect technical information, including:

• IP address (often truncated or anonymized by our providers)
• Browser type, device type and operating system
• Pages viewed, referring URL and approximate geographic region
• Date, time and duration of visits

We use this data in aggregate to understand traffic, fix errors and improve the site. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. DealHaus and our service providers may use:

• Essential cookies - required for basic site operation and security (e.g., load balancing on our host).
• Analytics cookies - help us measure page views and performance (e.g., Vercel Web Analytics or similar, if enabled).
• Affiliate / referral cookies - when you click an outbound deal link to Amazon or another retailer, that merchant may set cookies to attribute a qualifying purchase to our affiliate account. Those cookies are controlled by the retailer, not DealHaus.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect site functionality. Blocking affiliate cookies does not change prices on retailer sites but may prevent us from earning a commission on your purchase.

Affiliate links and third-party sites

DealHaus participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and may participate in other affiliate programs. Outbound links to Amazon.com and other retailers are marked rel="sponsored nofollow". When you follow these links:

• You leave DealHaus and are subject to the retailer's privacy policy and terms (e.g., Amazon.com Privacy Notice).
• The retailer may collect personal information, purchase history and device data according to its own policies.
• We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not influence which deals we list or how we rank them.

We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal information or making a purchase.

Third-party services

DealHaus relies on the following categories of service providers:

• Vercel - hosts the DealHaus frontend, may process server logs and analytics. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
• Amazon Associates - affiliate program for product links and optional product data (when enabled). See Amazon's Privacy Notice.
• Analytics providers (if enabled) - privacy-focused traffic measurement; configured to minimize personal data where possible.

These providers process data on our behalf under their terms and applicable law. We choose providers with reasonable security practices but cannot guarantee their systems.

How we use information

• Operate, maintain and improve DealHaus
• Monitor site performance, security and abuse
• Understand aggregate usage patterns
• Respond to support or privacy requests
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for targeted advertising on DealHaus and we do not sell or rent personal information to data brokers.

Data retention

Server logs and analytics are retained only as long as needed for operations, security and troubleshooting, typically in rolling windows defined by our hosting provider. Email correspondence is kept until the inquiry is resolved and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information. Because DealHaus collects minimal personal data, many requests may simply confirm that we hold no account profile for you.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell personal information as defined by California law.

Children

DealHaus is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use HTTPS for all site traffic and rely on reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of DealHaus after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
